FRANCIS LÉGER

Founder and CEO of Applied Virtuosics, American conductor Francis Léger is recognized as a gifted interpretive artist who has a track record of transforming and building orchestras, and of exciting American and international audiences with moving, insightful performances.

Léger has worked in Europe, Asia, and the United States with symphony orchestras and chamber orchestras along with opera companies, theaters, ensembles, and academic institutions as music director and conductor, concert artist, arts advocate, professor, and head of music research.

Léger is a member of the International Conductors Guild, the League of American Orchestras, and the American Federation of Musicians. He resides near Austin, Texas.
