Francis Léger
Founder & CEO of Applied Virtuosics, the American conductor Francis Léger is recognized as a gifted interpretive artist who has a track record of transforming and building orchestras, and of exciting American and international audiences with profoundly moving performances.
Léger has worked in the US, Europe, and Asia with symphony orchestras and chamber orchestras including Rome Philharmonic Orchestra, the Czech Chamber Philharmonic, Prague, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, and at theatres, opera companies, and academic institutions as concert artist, music director, conductor, professor, and head of music research.
He is a member of the International Conductors Guild, League of American Orchestras, and the AFM. Léger resides near Austin, Texas.
